Caring for your wooden kitchenware and accessories is essential to maintain their function and appearance. To properly care for wooden kitchenware and accessories please follow these tips:
– Please always wash wooden kitchenware by hand using a mild dish soap and warm water. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners as they can damage the wood.
– Please do not soak wooden kitchenware in water as this can cause warping, cracking, and splitting. Rinse under running water and dry it with a towel as quickly as possible.
– Wooden kitchenware and accessories should not be placed in the dishwasher. Doing so can cause the wood to warp, crack or lose its natural oils.
– Please apply wood oil regularly using a soft cloth and let absorb. This helps to fill the pores in the wood, prevent water absorption, and increase resistance to scratches and mechanical damage.
– Wood can change due to temperature and humidity. Please avoid exposing wooden kitchenware to extreme temperatures including ovens or on stoves.
– Wooden kitchenware is best stored in a dry place away from sources of moisture. They can be stored in a drawer, cupboard, or on a shelf. If stored in a shelf placing a paper towel or other forms of cloth will help avoid the items scratching and wearing on each other.
Please also keep in mind that wooden products are unique and may change shape and condition over time due to their natural properties.
