These general terms and conditions for sales and delivery (the “Terms”) apply to the purchase of goods and services from www.hoemstudio.com (the “Website”) owned and administered by HOEME STUDIO, Corporate registration number DK4365 8522 (“HOEME STUDIO”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”).

The Terms apply to all users of the Website, including users who are browsers, suppliers, customers, wholesalers and/or content contributors (“You” or “Your”). The Terms may be amended at Our discretion. When ordering goods at the Website You agree to comply with and be bound by the Terms. We recommend that You carefully read the Terms before taking the Website in use and placing Your order. When placing Your order on the Website, Our system will automatically forward an order confirmation to the email You have provided. Once You have received the order confirmation, a binding agreement has been made. When we dispatch the goods from Our warehouse, You will receive an email from us with further information on the expected time and date of delivery. You are responsible for submitting valid customer information when placing Your order and for reacting to any erroneous information contained in the order confirmation received from us.

HOEME STUDIO does not guarantee that the information provided on the Website is complete, accurate, or up-to-date. We strive to provide correct information regarding colors, pictures, texts, prices, and warehouse stock but inaccuracies, typographical errors, and/or omissions may occur. In the event of incorrect prices or available stock You will be notified and provided the opportunity to cancel the order. We reserve the right to change the content and information provided on the Website at any time.

We shall not be liable for any indirect or direct damages, including lost profits, resulting from the information on the Website or otherwise connected to the Website. We cannot be held responsible for the Website being temporarily unavailable, but we make every effort to secure access to the Website.

Orders placed on the Website are not binding until we have confirmed the order by issuing an order confirmation by email. Once You have placed Your order, we will send You a preliminary confirmation via email, and Your order will processed as soon as possible thereafter. We operate Monday to Friday, except for public holidays. In the case of a delay, e.g., due to stock availability, we will inform You as soon as possible. Once Your order has been shipped, we will send You the final confirmation and tracking information of Your order via email. When You place an order, all data is encrypted to and from the Website by SSL (Secure Socket Layers).

The Website accepts online payments with Visa/Dankort, Visa, ApplePay. Payment will only be charged from your account when the physical item is shipped, unless otherwise agreed or stated in your order. When using a payment card, debit as well as credit, a reservation on your bank account is made for the amount purchased for. This amount is reserved until the Webshop has processed and shipped your order. When the order has been dispatched, the money is withdrawn from the account. The reservation time depends on the product/service.

If You order from an EU country, prices include Danish VAT at 25%. For all countries outside the EU, local charges such as import duties and/or sales tax may apply. The cost of these charges are at Your expense. We recommend that You contact Your local customs office for more information.

All domestic orders are shipped at a minimum fee as stated on the Website. The shipping costs for orders shipped outside Denmark may vary depending on the shipping location.

All Our shipments are sent with official external couriers from Our warehouse in Denmark. We cannot be held responsible if any of the appointed couriers are delayed. Any stated delivery times are subject to the individual country and possible customs issues and are therefore only indicative. We furthermore reserve the right to delay any order due to payment validation checks.

If You do not pick up Your package in the selected package shop in time or if GLS or UPS fails to deliver to the address provided by You, we will receive Your package back and all related costs shall be at Your expense.

HOEME STUDIO offers 14-day money-back guarantee from the day of delivery. Please note that the money-back guarantee does not cover shipping costs, additional duties, or taxes associated with buying or returning the item. If You wish to request a refund, You must contact us within the 14-day period and wait for confirmation from us before returning the product. The product must be in perfect condition for the return to be accepted. Shipping and handling costs are at Your expense and risk. We will not provide compensation for products lost or damaged during return shipping to us. Refunds will be issued to the credit card used for the original purchase within 14 business days after receiving the returned item.

Faulty products purchased from the Website can be replaced or refunded within 14 days of delivery. Please ensure to return the items to the following address:

HOEME STUDIO operates in accordance with EU and Danish laws, as well as Danish consumer protection legislation (“Købeloven”), and as such offers 24 months warranty. The warranty covers errors in materials and production. Warranty claims must be received immediately upon acknowledgment of the error and notified in writing to HOEME STUDIO via the contact formula on the Website or via email at contact@hoemestudio.com.

Please note that the warranty does not cover defects, damages, or wear caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, or normal wear. HOEME STUDIO furthermore does not warrant that Our products or services comply with any local legislation in Your country or region. HOEME STUDIO cannot be held liable for any consequences legally, financially or in any other capacity of products or services sold by us which do not comply with the local legislation, tradition or customs, neither as purchased directly by us or though a third party. 

For complaints, defects, or missed deliveries, please contact us at contact@hoemestudio.com. Please be aware that we do not cover any costs associated with a complaint unless expressly stated in writing from us. 

The information provided by You is necessary for the processing, handling and completion of Your orders, and the preparation of the accounts. Submitting incorrect or false personal data is considered a breach of the Terms. Your personal data will only be processed in accordance with Our privacy statement.
In case of Force Majeure, Our obligations are rendered null and void. The contract between You and HOEME STUDIO can in such cases be partially or fully terminated by Yourself or by us. A Force Majeure is defined as event of war, civil war, revolution, riot, governmental measures, strike lockout, blockage, failure of electricity, telephone or internet service, natural disasters or similar events.

These terms and conditions are governed by Danish law. You agree that the Danish courts will have exclusive jurisdiction of any dispute under this agreement. The laws of Your country may be different from the laws in Denmark and there may be additional legal requirements for You to use this Website. You must comply with all applicable local and international laws and regulations regarding Your use of the Website.

SHIPPING COSTS

EU: Free shipping on all orders above 100 EUR. For larger items such as floor vases requiring shipping by “quarter pallet” or “half pallet”, an additional shipping fee may be added after checkout if shipping fees are above average. In this case, You will be contacted by Our team upon order processing via email. 

NB: Great Britain, Norway, Switzerland and islands territories of France, Portugal and Spain are not included in free shipping above 100 EUR. For orders at 100 EUR or below the shipping rates are stated in the checkout section of the Website.

Rest of the world: Once Your order has been placed on the Website, Our team will contact you via email to coordinate the best possible shipment to your address.


HANDLING AND SHIPPING TIME

Handling time for all orders is 1-5 business days not inclusive of the shipping timeframes provided below. All Our shipments are sent with official external couriers from Our warehouse in Denmark. We cannot be held responsible if any of the appointed couriers are delayed. Any stated delivery times are subject to the individual country and possible customs issues and are therefore only indicative. We furthermore reserve the right to delay any order due to payment validation checks.

Delivery time is typically 1-5 working days for products on stock.

If You do not pick up Your package in the selected package shop in time or if a courier fails to deliver to the address provided by You, we will receive Your package back and all related costs shall be at Your expense.


RETURNS & EXCHANGES

HOEME STUDIO offers 14-day money-back guarantee from the day of delivery. Please note that the money-back guarantee does not cover shipping costs, additional duties, or taxes associated with buying or returning the item. If You wish to request a refund, You must contact us within the 14-day period and wait for confirmation from us before returning the product. The product must be in perfect condition for the return to be accepted. Shipping and handling costs are at Your expense and risk. We will not provide compensation for products lost or damaged during return shipping to us. Refunds will be issued to the credit card used for the original purchase within 14 business days after receiving the returned item.
